Motor gasoline exporters to Kyrgyzstan ranked

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 17. Kyrgyzstan imported a total of 375.641 million liters of motor gasoline from January through August 2023, which is a 28-percent decrease compared to the same period in 2022, Trend reports.

Data from the State Statistical Committee reveals that the total value of these imports amounted to $148.813 million, down by 42 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

During this period under review, Kyrgyzstan sourced motor gasoline from three countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

In contrast, in the same period the previous year, in addition to these three countries, Kyrgyzstan also imported motor gasoline from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Armenia.

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover reached $9.407 billion from January through August 2023, which is an increase of 27.3 percent compared to the same period in 2022.

Exports amounted to $1.85 billion, increasing 46.7 percent year-on-year. Imports reached $7.556 billion, growing by 23.3 percent compared to the same months in 2022.

In the structure of the trade turnover, exports accounted for 19.7 percent, while imports made up 80.3 percent.
