ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 11. Turkmenistan plans to build social and residential buildings in the new administrative center of the Ahal region Arkadag city as part of the second stage of development, Trend reports.
According to the official source of Turkmenistan, the construction of buildings is planned by order of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag together with the municipality of this city.
It is planned to build kindergartens in the city, each with 320 seats, in the amount of 9 units and secondary schools, each with 720 seats, in the amount of 5 units.
In addition, five-storey 30-apartment residential buildings in the amount of 36 units, five-storey 40-apartment residential buildings in the amount of 36 units, seven-storey 42-apartment residential buildings in the amount of 24 units and nine-storey 54-apartment residential buildings in the amount of 14 units will be built in the city.
The city of Arkadag has been named the new administrative center of the Ahal region of Turkmenistan, in which approximately 70,000 people will live.
Furthermore, it is being built on an area of 950 hectares, 30 kilometers southwest of the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, and its construction was started in 2019 with almost $1.5 billion have allocation for the project.
