ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 12. Turkmenistan is completing the construction of two cement production plants in the districts of Baharden (Ahal region) and Koytendag (Lebap region), Trend reports.
According to preliminary information, both enterprises with a capacity of 1 million tons of cement per year each will become a catalyst for the growth of the Turkmenistan's construction sector.
The construction of the 2nd part of enterprises in these areas began in 2020 as part of the relevant program for the construction of industrial facilities in the country for the period 2020-2023.
At the same time, it is planned to build an enterprise for the production of decorative ceramic plates and sanitary ceramics in the Baharden district, additional workshops for the glass industry with a capacity of 100 tons of products per day in the Gokdepe district (Ahal region), an enterprise for the production of tableware in the Dashoguz city, as well as additional workshops for the production of 150 tons of fittings per year.
Meanwhile, all the launched industrial facilities, which will be under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, will comply with all environmental safety standards.
