Uzbekistan is interested in import of livestock from the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Khurshid Mirzakhidov said.
Mirzakhidov made the remark at a meeting with Minister of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic Askarbek Janybekov, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.
A new method of planting cotton is used in the Kyrgyz Republic.
In turn, Janybekov said that at the moment, there is a temporary ban on the export of live animals in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
However, the negotiations on a possible reduction in the term of the imposed restriction are underway.
The sides agreed to exchange a list of importers and exporters to create delivery terms.
The issue of building a greenhouse and a garden in the regions of Kyrgyzstan through the technical assistance of the Uzbek side was raised during the meeting.
