BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 11. Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) exported products worth $947.7 million in 2022, Trend reports citing the press service of AMMC.
During the reporting period, AMMC exported 75,208 tons of copper products and 58,737 tons of zinc products.
Furthermore, in 2022 AMMC also exported goods such as selenium, tellurium, copper sulfate, sulfuric acid, cadmium, palladium powder, molybdenum products, as well as lead concentrate.
AMMC exports its products mainly to Türkiye, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Poland, Tajikistan, Indonesia, the Netherlands, China, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan.
It also exported products to new markets – Spain, Austria, Germany, Finland, Canada, South Africa, and Senegal. The countries imported from Uzbek AMMC products worth $14.3 million.
Furthermore, in 2022, the first container block train with copper concentrate produced by AMMC shipped to the Bulgarian port of Burgas.
