The Iranian National Oil and Gas Company has suspended its work in Libya and will evacuate workers to Iran within 48 hours, the Mehr news agency reported.
According to the information, no Iranians have been injured or killed in the violence that has spread across the country in recent days.
Iran is engaged in drilling three gas wells in Libya and 35 wells have been drilled so far.
