Turkish air forces forced a cargo plane carrying military supplies from Iran to Syria to land in southeast Turkey on Wednesday after receiving a tip-off warning of nuclear weapons onboard, local media reported.
The plane encountered with two F-16 war planes of Turkish air forces after entering Turkey's air space and landed at an airport in the Diyarbakir province, reported local Dogan news agency.
The plane was being investigated at the airport and civil defense experts were sent there for probe, Xinhua reported.
