Iranian president's uncompromising position brought sanctions on the country 10 years earlier, Member of the Article 90 Commission of Iran's parliament Seyyed Fazel Musavi said today at the parliamentary meeting, ILNA reported.

"The holocaust matter was forgotten until the president made a reminder, and that caused additional problems," Musavi noted.

Musavi also touched upon financial matters, which he believes, should be brought to attention.

"Ahmadinejad's government brought the country some $1400 bln. in 6,5 years, and there must be a report on where this money was spent. President must make a report on this issue," Seyyed Fazel Musavi added.

Ahmadinejad's questioning the Holocaust in the Second World War, uncompromising stance in the nuclear dispute and warnings of harsh retaliations in case of military attacks on Iran's nuclear sites have caused fear of war in the region.

"What good did these sanctions bring to the country?," asks Musavi. "These issues need attention."

After Musavi made the statement, some of Ahmadinejad's supporters attempted to make a clash, however the attempt failed.
