Over 57,000 cars transited via Iran’s Lengeh Port to Central Asia

Some 57,560 cars were transited through Iran's Lengeh Port in southern Hormozgan Province, en route to Central Asia in the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21, 2011, ISNA news agency reported.

The transited cars are valued at around 8.8 trillion rials (some $650 million), the report added.

Some 180,000 tons of goods, including fruits, dried nuts, raisins and plaster, worth around $80 million, were also exported from the port to the UAE in the aforementioned 10-month period.
