Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said disagreements between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have lessened, ISNA reported.

Salehi speaking in a press conference, stressed Iran's talks with IAEA experts on nuclear issue were "satisfying" and the first steps for reducing disputes have been taken.

He noted the IAEA inspectors are supposed to revisit Iran by March.

Salehi pointed out the agency is the only international authority for monitoring peaceful nuclear activities of the member states, so P5+1 is not considered as an authority to make comments.

He continued time and venue for talks with P5+1 would be set after Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili's response to the EU's foreign policy Chief Catherine Ashton's letter.

He referred to recent measures taken on Syria, noting Russia and China's action on vetoing the resolution on toppling Syrian president, has had an international reflection. The countries could take a stand against bullies -- western countries -- in the international organizations particularly UN Security Council.
