An LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) storage tank caught fire at a dyeing facility near Iran's capital city of Tehran, Iran's Fars news agency reported.

The 4000-litre LPG tank caught fire at approximately 3:30 (local time) on May 31 in Vardavard district near Tehran.

Following the accident, a team of firefighters from Tehran's Fire Department was dispatched to the facility, and managed to control the spreading fire after three hours.

There were no immediate reports on possible casualties or damage.
