( Irna ) - The foreign ministers of five littoral states of the Caspian Sea met here Sunday behind closed doors after the inaugual ceremony of the meeting.
Participants in the meeting are to discuss preparations for the Caspian Sea littoral states summit.
The participating foreign ministers from Iran, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are scheduled to hold a meeting with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad later in the day.
The day-long meeting of foreign ministers of the Caspian Sea littoral states kicked off at Foreign Ministry's Institute for Political and International Studies in Tehran Wednesday.
Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki addressed the inaugural ceremony.
