Large Iranian steel companies exported over 3.4 million tons of steel during six months of 2019 (from March 21 to September 22), which is three percent more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports on Oct. 16 referring to Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to IMIDRO, during the reporting period, Khouzestan steel company exported more than 1.37 million tons, Mobarakeh Steel Company – 752,000 tons, and Esfahan Steel Company – 576,000 tons .
The export of steel grew by 60 percent from August 23 to September 22 (one month) compared to the same period of last year. During the reporting period, the companies exported 554,000 tons of steel products.
The export of Iran's Alloy Steel Company increased by 168 percent, Mobarakeh Steel Company - by 160 percent, Khorasan Steel Complex Company - by 131 percent.
The export figures of the Mobarakeh, Khouzestan, Esfahan, Khorasan, Hormozgan, Eksin, Azerbaijan, South Kava, Binab and Chadormalu steel companies has been indicated in the country’s statistics.
