TEDPIX, the main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), dropped 13,590 points to 1.167 million on Monday, Trend reports via Fars News Agency.
About 2.3 billion shares valued at $454 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
The indices of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co., Mobarakeh Steel Co., Copper National Industry Co., Golgohar Co., Parsian Gas Co., SHASTA Co., and POGD Co, had the most negative impact in TSE on Monday.
TEDPIX, which had been experiencing a surprisingly rising trend since the last days of the previous Iranian calendar year (ended on March 19), hit the record high of two million points on August 2, but then it began to drop, coming down to 1.2 million points.
