The head of Kerman Province's Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Mehdi Hosseininejad said the export of industrial, mining and agricultural goods from this province reached $2.16 billion in 2020, which is an increase of 52 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, Trend reports via IRNA.
He went on to add that province has good capacity, as far as minerals go, but there are certain problems.
"The contractors in the mineral sector haven't received their production license cards yet," he said.
Referring to the export obstacles, he noted the problems trucks have with exports on the border with Turkmenistan. He expressed hope this obstacle will be resolved as soon as possible, thanks to cooperation of the relevant ministries.
