TEHRAN, Iran, Aug. 27
Trend:
Iran's economic priority is to implement short-term goals and healthy sustainable methods to finance economic development, said Iran Minister of Economic Affairs and Finances, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The thirteenth government should use every minute to improve its function and start economic plans, said Ehsan Khandoozi as the minister on his first day of work in the Ministry of Economics.
"The most important priorities are to have short-term goals that are effective and in line with long-term economic reform. These reforms include macro policy-making for return to economic stability, reducing fluctuation of prices and foreign currency problems that are in unsuitable thresholds compared to past decades," he noted.
"Following macroeconomic stability, there would be a move toward economic growth and increasing per capita income," Khandoozi indicated.
He went on to stress that helping the rearrange of economic function for neutralization of sanctions is another issue so that Iran's economy would not be so fragile in facing foreign pressures.
