Charter flights from Batumi to Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel and Iran will take place this season, the Department of Tourism of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara said on Friday.
Flights from Batumi to EU countries will be carried out for the first time, the information stated and in particular a route to Warsaw is planned.
The summer season in Adjara will begin in mid-May. Tourism week will be held in the region. To celebrate, there will be three-dimensional art exhibition in the streets of Batumi and an evening of waltzing in the Piazza.
