EIA predicts steady rise in global oil inventories
Global oil inventories have seen an unexpected increase this year, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). As global oil consumption has fallen, about 0.3 million barrels per day (b/d) of oil were added to inventories during the first four months of 2025.
