BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 20. Georgian Airways, the country's national air carrier, has launched flights from Tbilisi to Moscow, Trend reports.
The first flight departed from Tbilisi International Airport at 8:00 a.m. local time on Saturday is anticipated to reach Moscow at 10:15 a.m. local time.
The airline will operate seven flights per week.
Georgian Airways becomes the second carrier to resume flight operations between the two countries after a significant hiatus. Russia's Azimuth airline conducted its first Moscow to Tbilisi flight in four years on Friday. Furthermore, Russia's Red Wings will commence flights to Georgia starting in June.
