At least two people died and some 100 were injured Friday after a bridge collapsed on a fast-speed international train in eastern Czech Republic, police officials said, reported dpa.
A Eurocity train from Krakow to Prague crashed into a bridge that has been under reconstruction on the outskirts of north-eastern town of Studenka.
At least two died according to early estimates by Czech Railways, while local police said that there could be at least 10 victims.
Twenty firefighting units and dozens of ambulances rushed to the scene in order to free the victims from at least two wrecked train cars, taking them to local hospitals, firefighters said.
