Serbia is interested in increasing the number of pilgrim tourists from Belarus, Ambassador of Serbia to Belarus Srecko Djukic told a press conference on February 11, BelTA reported.
The diplomat remarked, at present orthodox shrines of Serbian monasteries attract much attention of Belarusian believers. Last year a large delegation of pilgrims led by Archbishop of Pinsk and Luninets Stefan visited Serbia.
"We would like a special tourism agency under the Belarusian Orthodox Church to organise pilgrimage from Belarus to Serbia," said Srecko Djukic.
The Ambassador reminded, Belarus and Serbia had established a visa-free regime. "We are interested in more Belarusians coming to Serbia and more Serbs coming to Belarus," he concluded.
