The United Nations Security Council will have an emergency meeting on the situation in Ukraine on Wednesday, November 12, TASS reported referring to a spokesperson for the Australian mission to the United Nations.
According to the spokesperson, the meeting will be held at 14:30 local time (23:30 Baku time). It will hear a report on the Ukrainian developments by representatives of the United Nations secretariat. The meeting will be help in an open regime. Along with the 15 members of the United Nations Security Council, it will be attended by Ukraine's Permanent Representative Yuri Sergeyev.
The meeting is expected to discuss the recent developments in eastern Ukraine, with numerous episodes of violations of the ceasefire regime established under the Minsk agreements.
