( ForUm ) - The European Union calls Ukraine to hold clear Constitutional reform in accordance with the Venetian Commission. The EU representatives told at the Council on cooperation Ukraine-EU in Luxemburg on June 18.
"The EU expressed deep concern about political dead-lock and constitutional crisis in Ukraine. The EU emphasized importance for Ukraine to hold political and economic reforms. Success of Ukraine in stabilization of its political system will be a main factor that will determine its ability to go ahead," the Council of EU press service says.
According to the EU, Ukraine needs profound Constitutional reform to balance major power bodies within democracy principles, law and advices of the Venetian Commission.
