Turkey's main opposition leader met on Friday Greek prime minister in the Greek capital of Athens, AA reported.
Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu and Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, who is also the president of the Socialist International, underscored dynamism of Turkish-Greek relations when speaking to reporters before their meeting.
Kilicdaroglu expressed his hope that bilateral relations would be boosted, and his belief that Greece would succeed in its fight against financial crisis under Papandreou's leadership.
CHP chairman Kilicdaroglu will proceed to Thessaloniki on Saturday. He is expected to return to Turkey on Saturday evening after visiting Western Thrace.
