NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Curtis M. Scaparrotti arrived in Turkey, Hurriyet newspaper reported Aug. 22.
Within the visit, Scaparrotti has had a meeting with the Chief of Turkish General Staff Hulusi Akar, said the report.
Other details of the meeting have not been reported.
Earlier, Commander of the US Central Command, General Joseph Votel visited Turkey on Aug. 2.
