Volume of bentonite transshipment via Turkish ports disclosed

The volume of transshipment of bentonite through Turkey’s ports amounted to 52,086 tons, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Feb. 28.
In January 2020, the volume of transshipment of bentonite by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 3,607 tons.
The volume of bentonite transshipped by ships flying the flag of other countries through Turkish ports reached 48,479 tons.
In January 2020, transshipment of bentonite by transit was not carried out via Turkish ports.
The volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020. Meanwhile, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.4 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flag of other countries amounted to 30.5 million tons.
In January 2020, over 6.1 million tons of cargo transshipment in transit were carried out through Turkish ports.
