Turkey’s furniture exports to Azerbaijan increased by 4.3 percent from January through November 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to $118.3 million, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.
In November 2020, the exports of furniture from Turkey to Azerbaijan decreased by 7.5 percent compared to November 2019 and amounted to $11.6 million, said the ministry.
"From January through November 2020, Turkey’s furniture exports to global markets decreased by 0.3 percent compared to the same period of last year, amounting to $4.99 billion. At the same time, Turkey’s furniture exports amounted to 3.3 percent of the country's total exports," the ministry noted.
In November 2020, Turkey exported furniture products worth $522.8 million to foreign markets, which is 0.3 percent more than in the same month of 2019. In this month, Turkey’s furniture exports accounted for 3.2 percent of the country's total exports.
Over the past 12 months (from November 2019 through November 2020), Turkey exported furniture worth $5.51 billion abroad.
