Around 30 foreign reporters, trapped in the Rixos Hotel in Tripoli for five days, were Wednesday allowed to walk free, one of the BBC journalists in the hotel reported, DPA reported.
The reporters had been held by gunmen carrying pictures of the Libyan leader Moamer Gaddafi and flags of his regime.
