The 2nd Business Forum "France-Azerbaijan 2015" was held in Paris May 13 on the theme "Towards a diversified and decentralized economic partnership," organized by the European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) together with the "Business France" with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Such topics as "Azerbaijan is strategic economic ally of France and Europe," "Attractiveness of Azerbaijan for foreign investments, market condition, reforms and prospects," "Diversification of economy as a priority - Azerbaijan as the leading market of the South Caucasus," "The energy and environmental cooperation with Azerbaijan - from exhaustible resources to alternative energy sources" were discussed at the forum, which was attended by over 200 representatives of official and business circles of Azerbaijan and France.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Elchin Amirbayov, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Monier, Head of the Department of Interstate Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Economy and Industry Orkhan Mammadov, Senator of the Bas-Rhin Region and President of the France-Caucasus Friendship Group at the Senate of France André Reichardt, representatives of state and business structures, as well as experts in the field of economy gave speech at the forum.
