Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 February / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / The Venice Commission of Council of Europe and other international organizations reached an agreement to introduce changes into the Azerbaijani Election Code.
"The new version of Election Code was submitted to Parliament, and I believe that it will be submitted for discussion in the near future," Ali Hasanov, the head of Public-Political Department of Executive Apparatus of President, stated.
There is no exact information about the changes to the Election Code. International organizations and the opposition are insisting on changes of principles in the formation of the election commissions.
