Parliamentary Commission of Kyrgyzstan to Monitor Regional Investigation Cells

Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 14 November / corr Trend R. Mashadihasani / The parliamentary commission of Kyrgyzstan will visit Osh city investigation cells, temporary custodyand psychiatric hospital to hold control. Melis Erjigitov, spokesman for the Kyrgyzstan Parliament, told Trend .   

From 16 to 18 November the commission comprised of MPs Mamasaliyev, Bekonov and Abdurahimov will visit Osh to monitor the maintenance conditions and observation of human rights at the local temporary custody and investigation cells of the Central Execution Department, as well as the Agency of drug control and the psychiatric hospital.

The monitoring will be carried out within the implementation of a decree of the Parliament at the initiative of the committee on constitutional legislation, state building, law and human rights.

"Results of the monitoring concerning the condition of maintenance in the closed establishments observed by the commission over the last seven months will be submitted to the Parliament on December 1 International Day of Human Rights," MP Alishir Mamasaliyev, chairman of the commission, said.
