Russia used its right on veto at the meeting of the UN Security Council against resolution and now it is alone, Director of the Georgian Foreign Ministry International Organizations Department Sergi Kapanadze said at the meeting of parliamentary committees of international relations and European Integration and acting Commission for Restotation of Territorial Integrity of Georgia.
According to him, the threat that the UN may adopt a document which may cause an erosion of Georgia's territorial integrity was real.
Georgia's principled position was fixing the principle of territorial integrity of Georgia, according to Kapanadze.
"We are fighting for calling everything by its own name, and it was successfully implemented. The aim of the Georgian side is to strengthening the EU Observation Mission," he said.
