Moldovan citizens temporarily residing in Azerbaijan may vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections in a polling stationa organized by the Moldovan Embassy in Baku.

Moldova will hold snap parliamentary elections on Nov. 28.

After the parliamentary elections on April 5, 2009 and the parliamentary elections on July 29, 2009, the legislature was to elect the Moldovan president. However, all four attempts in 2009 to elect a head of state by parliamentary means failed.

The polling station is operating at 520 Hussein Javid Prospect in Baku.

Due to parliament's failure to elect a president and after an official request by the acting head of state, the Moldovan Constitutional Court issued an opinion on Sept. 21 regarding a statement of circumstances justifying the dissolution of parliament. On Sept. 28, the acting president signed a decree dissolving parliament from Sept. 29, 2010, and scheduled the elections for Nov. 28.
