Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed his condolences to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in connection with the crash of the Bulgaria ship, Azerbaijani President's official website reported.
"The news of the heavy human loss caused by a crash of the Bulgaria ship has been a source of great sorrow to me," the Azerbaijani leader said in his message.
"On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of Russia."
