Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski will pay an official visit to Georgia tonight.

The Polish President will hold the official meetings on July 26-27, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at a traditional briefing on Monday.

During his visit President Komorowski will meet with his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Saakashvili in Batumi. He will also meet with the Polish new leadership in the EU representative office in Georgia.

"This is his first visit as the president," she said. "Poland is our active lobbyist in the international arena. It is very important for the Polish side to have the accurate information about the situation in Georgia."

A memorandum on cooperation will be signed between the two governments in the spheres of education, culture, sports and youth in 2011-2013.
