A report on the preparatory work to construct a complex of residential buildings in the city of Abadan was heard at the last government meeting in Ashgabat.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that modern housing estates, to be built in Abadan, must fully comply with the requirements of time and international standards, the Turkmen government said.
Pyrotechnic materials exploded in Abadan on July 7. Pyrotechnics were intended for fireworks and stored in special warehouses in the outskirts of the city of Abadan.
The fire occurred as a result of hot weather.
It was reported that two military and 13 civilians were killed, nearby houses and buildings were partially damaged.
