Azerbaijan`s first lady opens several facilities (PHOTO)

Azerbaijan`s first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has today inaugurated “Gayghi” rehabilitation center for disabled children in Nizami district, Baku.

Azerbaijan`s first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has today inaugurated "Gayghi" rehabilitation center for disabled children in Nizami district, Baku.

Mehriban Aliyeva cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center, and then toured it.
The first lady was informed that the rehabilitation center had been built in 1952. The reconstruction work started here late last year. The facility can handle up to 50 children.

The "Gayghi" rehabilitation center has an indoor swimming-pool, 56 surveillance cameras, and a gym.

The president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation viewed bedrooms, a massage room, an entertainment room, and medical rooms.

The equipment of the center was donated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva praised the conditions created at the facility.
Then first lady of Azerbaijan, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has visited kindergarten No 82 after the major repairs and reconstruction in the capital`s Yasamal district.

The first lady viewed photos reflecting the look of the facility before reconstruction, and highlighting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s attention to children.

The two-storey building was constructed in 1963. The facility was repaired under the "State Program on socio-economic development of the city of Baku and its suburbs in 2011-2013".

The reconstruction work was launched in March, 2012. There are 95 children aged between 3 and 6 in the kindergarten, who are served by 20 people.

All the rooms are equipped with the modern installations donated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The first lady praised the conditions created in the kindergarten.
