Trend: A ceremony of presenting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with the "Friend of journalists" award was held on Nov. 24.
The event was attended by members of Azerbaijan Press Council, State Support to Media Fund under the Azerbaijani President, and by the heads of leading media outlets.
President Aliyev delivered a speech at the event.
