Next meeting of Intergovernmental commission on delimitation of Azeri-Georgian borders to be held in early 2006

“The next meeting of the Intergovernmental commission on delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Georgian borders will be held in Tbilisi in early 2006,”Gela Bejuashvili, the Georgian Foreign Minister, said, Trend reports.

The agreement was achieved on the results of the negotiations held within his visit to Baku. According to Bejuashvili, there is favorable ground for the resolution of the issues. “Its is not simple matter. Though most issues have been unified, open issues will be discussed at the next round,” the Minister noted.

Touching upon the Georgian citizens by Azerbaijani origin, he stressed that the Georgian leadership acted on the principle of establishment of equal conditions for all citizens irrespective of their nationality.
