A parliamentary delegation headed by Valeh Alasgarov, the vice chairman of Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani parliament], is on visit to Moscow to attend the closing ceremony of the Azerbaijani Year in Russia. The parliament told Trend the major event has been scheduled for Monday.
The delegation includes the chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on regional issues, Arif Rahimzade, the chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on human rights, Rabiyyat Aslanova, MPs Elmira Akhundova and Mikhael Zabelin.
The parliamentary delegation plans to hold several meetings during the visit to last by Tuesday.
