The official visit of the President of Romania Trayan Basesku to Azerbaijan will take place on October 11-12, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania Eldar Hasanov told Trend on September 20.
The Romanian Head visits Baku with the invitation of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. According to the diplomat, the preparation works for the visit are completed.
Within the visit, Basesku is expected to signs agreements on the co-operation in the spheres of economy and culture, as well as in fight with terrorism and organized criminality.
In addition, Hasanov emphasized that two days prior to the visit of Romanian President to Azerbaijan, a meeting of Romanian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Economic Commission will be held in Baku.
