Nuraddin Mammadli, the Vice-Chairman of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, informed Trend that opposition political bloc, Azadlig will hold massive actions of protests in March 2007. The Popular Front party is one of the parties to the above-mentioned political bloc.
During the today sitting of the Presidium of the Popular Front Party, the delegates have discussed inter party issues, fulfillment of the working plan for 2007, activity of supervisory bodies and district organizations. They decided that it is necessary to extend the number of assemblies of the district organizations. It was decided that the reinforcement of the Azadlig bloc activity and forthcoming organization and holding actions of protest in March are purposeful. This issue will be discussed by the other parties which are parties to the bloc. The forthcoming protest actions will mainly concern social and economic problems. According to Mr. Mammadli, the party will be occupied with organizational activities this month. Opposition political bloc Azadlig consists of four parties: - the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Liberal Party, Party of Citizens and Development, and Azerbaijan Democratic Party.
