Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr.I.Alizadeh / Substantial changes have been introduced to the bill on Education, Shamsaddin Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) on Science and Education, reported.
'Disputable issues have been agreed, including the terms and forms of private, secondary, and higher education, paid education, and social protection of people engaged in educational system.
The current bill on Education was adopted in Azerbaijan in 1992. Some specialists consider that the present bill does not meet modern standards.
The new bill has already been developed for submission for consideration during the autumn session of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
