Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. Z.Safarov / The Azerbaijani chess player, Farid Abbasov, won the traditional international tournament in Sutron, France.
Abbasov defeated the French player, Sebastian Bone, with black during the final game, Trend news agency reported. Abbasov collected eight scores during the tournament, as well as the Russian players Vladimir Potkin, Vitali Kozak from Ukraine and the representative from the United States, David Prus.
The other Azerbaijani chess player Rashad Babayev was 0.5 scores behind Abbasov.
Some 186 chess players took part in the tournament.
