Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 February / Trend corr. A.Salmanov / The closed court proceeding involving the former chief of Azerbaijani state concern AZAL and detained four officials of the company, is restarted on 14 February.
The accused people are: Emil Suleymanov- the former chief of AZAL Airlines Security service, Tair Asadzadeh- specialist in electronics, Faig Guliyev- former engineer-programmer, Tamerlan Mikailov- head of operative service and Rafet Aliyev- colonel-lieutenant of National Security Ministry. They are accused with the Article 228 (illegal acquisition, transmission, sale, transport or keeping of guns and explosions), 302 (violation of the Law draft on operative-research activity) and 308 (misappropriate use of power).
The court proceeding will be continued on 25 February.
The detainees are kept in the Investigation cell of National Security of Azerbaijan. Asadzadeh was detained in the end of July 2007, Mikalov - 1 August and Suleymanov - 6 September.
