Contract Hinders Turkish Player from being Transferred to Azerbaijani Club: President of Club

Ergun/ The Macedonian footballer Artim Shakiri, who signed a year's contract with the Azerbaijani Karabakh club is very badly informed of the country where he will play. "I do not know that much about the Azerbaijani football. I had a little information about it when the Macedonian team met with Azerbaijani team. There are several reasons of my coming here. I am well familiar with the Turkish trainer of the club Rasim Kara," Shakiri said in a press conference on 18 June. 

Besides Shakiri, the other Macedonian player Ilami Halimi played for Olympic club earlier. Halimi won silver medals within the Olympic club in the Azerbaijani Premier Leagu. Halimi who acted as half-back in the team is 35 years.

Tahir Gozal, the president of Karabakh club said during the press conference that he tried so that they can transfer the Turkish footballer of Galatasaray HasaN Shash. ""We have held transfer talks with Shash. I wish that footballer to be transferred to Karabakh. But Shash's one year contract with Galatasaray hinders him from being transferred to Azerbaijan," the president of the club said.
