The Court of Azerbaijan has punished those found guilty of raping young children.
On Nov. 19, upon the decision of the Court on Heinous Crimes accused under article 150.3.3 (sexual assault) of the Criminal Code, the inhabitants of Jalilabad region Oktay Abbasov and Taleh Gasimov were sentenced to eight years imprisonment each.
In May, the accused persons entered into sexual relationship with their neighborhoods in Jalilabad region Samit and Elmira (the names of victims are conditional). Knowing this, the parents of young children appealed to the police station of Jalilabad region. Based on the appeal by the victims, Abbasov and Gasimov were detained.
