The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has developed an action plan in connection with the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijani football, AFFA reported.
It is planned to hold a series of events within the jubilee upon the instructions of AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev.
Under the plan, a grand ceremony will be held in June at the Buta Palace.
The event is expected to be attended by international football structures, representatives of national associations and other guests.
AFFA has collected photos, videos, publications about the history of Azerbaijani football from the state archive for use during the event.
