Last year more than 9,000 foreigners were deported from Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani State Migration Service said in a meeting recently.
After checking the documents of 16,680 foreigners, 12,094 foreigners were found to have broken the country's administrative procedures. The stay of some 2,796 people was legalized.
