Southern Caucasus "What? Where? When?" Championship to kick off in Batumi today

The 13th South Caucasus Championship of the intellectual game "What? Where? When?" will be held in Batumi from July 29 to July 31. A general sponsor of the championship is the company "Caucasus Online". Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani teams will compete for the Grand Cup.
The championship will bring together 55 teams from three countries. The jury members are well-known intellectuals and the winners of the "Crystal Owl" - Alexander Druz (St. Petersburg), Alexander Rubin (Moscow), Ilya Novikov (Moscow), and Elena Potanina (Odessa).
The Azerbaijani national team has won five times, the Georgian team four times, and the Armenian team three times at 12 championships held so far. The festival is supported by the Batumi Major's Office and City Council in conjunction with Adjara's Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.
The festival will open with the first rounds today at 14:00.
